First make sure that either the Email or SMS rejection templates have been added, and if you haven’t set them up already head over and check  this article.

Follow these steps to set up the rejection automation:

STEP 1: From your Workstream dashboard, select Positions tab, located on the upper left side of your screen.

STEP 2: Select and open the position for which you want to enable the rejection automation feature, then go to Settings.

STEP 3: On the Progress panel at the left select Rejection Template, and click on the Automation tab.

STEP 4: Click on the Enable button. Afterwards, choose the number of hours or days you want the applicant to receive the message after the system rejected them.

STEP 5:  After you're done, click Save Rule button.
