Adding a document for Online signing stage using the upload file feature

Through the upload file feature in Workstream, you have the ability to upload and share files with your applicants.

Using the upload file feature, you can send any type of document you wish your applicants to sign. This feature has no limitations as to how many numbers of documents you want to upload, and you can choose different merge tags to populate your document.

Here's how you can add a document using the upload file feature:

STEP 1: Log in to your Workstream account then go to Positions.

STEP 2: If you have multiple brands, select your brand name. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.

STEP 3: Click the arrow down button next to the brand name to select a location.

STEP 4: Select a position then click the three-dotted line located in the last column.

STEP 5: Select Edit Position.

STEP 6: Under Progress, choose Stages. Then scroll down to find your online signing stage.

NOTE: If you don't have an online signing stage, select the +Add new stage to add one.

STEP 7: Select Add new document.

STEP 8: Choose Upload file. Upload the document from your computer, and for the best experience please use pdf format. Choose who you wish to sign the document.

If required, add a company signer. On the dropdown list, select the name/s of the User/s or Role/s who you would like to sign the document. You can also add additional company signers.

Please note: If an employee is hired at a location that doesn’t have one of these roles assigned and is put in this onboarding process, a super admin will be automatically asked to complete the section instead.

STEP 9: Select Prepare document.

A small window will appear for you to edit the file. Select among the available tags located at the left side of the panel and add them to your template.

NOTE: If you hit the company signatory (from step 4), make sure that you will add merge tags for the signatory to fill out. Else, your document will not be saved.

STEP 10: Select Continue.

STEP 11: Select Save.
