Conduct the following background history check on your applicants through Workstream's integration with Checkr.

  • Civil and criminal history

  • Sex offender history

  • Credit report

  • Motor vehicle report

  • Drug screening

  • Employment verification

  • Others

To add a Background Check Stage, take the following steps:

STEP 1: Log in to your Workstream account then go to Positions.

STEP 2: If you have multiple brands, select your brand name. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.

STEP 3: Click the arrow down button next to the brand name to select a location.

STEP 4: Select a position then click the three-dotted line located in the last column.

STEP 5: Select Edit Position. You can also click the position name to take you to the Edit job summary page.

STEP 6: From Stages, choose Add new stage.

STEP 7: Select Background Check as your stage type.

STEP 8: Enter the stage name and then drag to rearrange the correct order. Choose Add.

STEP 9: You will be asked to install Checkr and refresh the page. Choose Install, and then Connect.

STEP 10: Sign in to your Checkr account to continue integration. If you don't have an account with Checkr yet, click here.

NOTE: With Workstream and Checkr, comprehensive background checks take about two business days on average. However, some may take longer depending on the applicant's background and county search.
