It is good to note that the time zone follows the requester's device setting whereby the platform follows the interviewer's time zone when the time slots are being opened and the applicant's time zone when it confirms a schedule. This is the reason why the users might see a different timing when they look at the notification sent to the applicant on the Messages tab.

To check the originating time zone, follow the below steps:

STEP 1: Log in to your Workstream account then go to Applicants.

STEP 2: Select which tab the applicant is currently parked in.

STEP 3: Choose the applicant's name to open the applicant’s profile.

STEP 4: Go to Messages.

STEP 5: Scroll down to Applicant System Update.

STEP 6: Expand to view the actual schedule assigned by the hiring manager to the applicant in the originating time zone.

STEP 7: Check the email or SMS notification sent to the applicant. The time zone should be the same as per the Applicant System Update.

NOTE: In the event that the applicant selected an appointment schedule based on the interviewee's available time slot, the Applicant System Update and the notification sent to the applicant will reflect the applicant's timezone. The interviewee's calendar will then auto-convert this into their own timezone.
