Use the onboarding documents tab

Upload, edit, and assign documents the Onboarding Documents tab.

The Onboarding Documents tab provides a centralized location for all your onboarding materials.

You can upload new documents, update existing ones, and even reuse the same documents for different onboarding processes.

To go here, simply switch to team view.

πŸ“Œ You need the "Add and configure company documents" permission to access this feature. If you don't have access, reach out to your Super Admin.

Upload onboarding documents

Here are two ways to upload onboarding documents.

πŸ“Œ The maximum file size allowed for uploading documents is 10MB.

Through the Onboarding Documents tab

  1. Select Upload documents.

  2. Select Click to Upload to add a file from your computer.

  3. Give this document a name.

  4. Check who signs the document:

    • Employee

    • Company signer (you can add two or more company signers)

  5. Select Prepare document, then set up the document for signing.

Through adding an onboarding module

  1. Switch to admin view, then go to Onboarding Processes.

  2. Select the Action menu next to the onboarding process.

  3. Select Edit process.

  4. Select ⨁ Add module.

  5. Scroll down to the Others section, then check Sign Onboarding Documents.

  6. Select Continue, then Upload document. Learn how to use the document editor with this article.


Now you can add the document you uploaded to any of your onboarding processes.

Make changes or download company documents

⚠️ Deleting a document from the "Onboarding documents" tab also deletes it from the "Documents" tab.

  1. Switch to team view.

  2. Go to Onboarding documents.

  3. Select the three-dot menu β€’β€’β€’ next to the document.

  4. Select an option:

    • Edit

    • Delete

    • View and download (this opens the document in a new tab)
