Once a new hire’s onboarding has started, you can use the Onboarding tab in Team View to see how they’re doing and manage any issues.
As a manager, you can:
Check where each new hire is in the process
Fix issues the system flags
Resend onboarding links if someone gets stuck
Restart specific tasks if information needs updating
Restart, stop, or switch the onboarding process if needed
The steps differ depending on your version:
Classic version: Has a dedicated Onboarding tab.
New version: Onboarding is part of the Team tab.
Track onboarding progress
You can track a new hire’s onboarding progress to see which tasks are completed and pending.

Review employee progress
Hover over the progress bar to see a breakdown of tasks (e.g., Basic Information – Completed, Sign Documents – Waiting).
Select View tasks in the Action column to drill down into details.
Fix onboarding issues
New version
Sometimes a new hire will have an Attention label that needs action before they can finish onboarding. To quickly find issues:
Use the Attentions filter in the Onboarding tab.
Select the issue type (e.g., Employment Setup).
Review the flagged hire’s tasks and fix the missing item.
Resend onboarding link
If a new hire hasn’t started onboarding or lost their link, you can resend it.
Classic version
Find the new hire
In Team View, go to Onboarding.
Select Overview, then go to the In progress list.
Find the employee you want to resend the link to.

Find the new hire
In Team View, go to Team.
Go to the Onboarding tab, then the In progress list.
Find the employee you want to resend the link to.

Restart tasks
If incorrect details were entered (for example, wrong SSN or a document needs to be re-signed), you can restart a task.
Keep in mind that restarting a task removes the completed version and requires the new hire to do it again.
⚠️ Resending some tasks like Basic Information will restart other modules. The applicant will be notified.

Find the new hire
In Team View, select the Onboarding tab then the Overview tab.
Select the In progress tab, then find the employee.
Resend task
To resend it, select Confirm and Restart.

Stop or change the onboarding process
Sometimes you may need to adjust the onboarding process for a new hire.
Classic version
In Team View, select the Onboarding tab, then the Overview tab.
Go to the In progress list, then find the employee.
Select the Menu bar (
) on the far-right corner.
Manage the onboarding process:
Stop process: Stop the onboarding for this employee
Change process: Change the onboarding process and employment details for this employee
New version
Go to the Team tab
In Team View, select Team.
Go to the Onboarding tab and find the team member.
Stop or change the process
Select the three-dot ••• menu next to the team member’s name.
Select one of the following:
Stop process to stop onboarding.
Change process to select a different onboarding process.
Remove new hire from onboarding
📌 This process is only applicable for the classic version.
In Team View, select the Onboarding tab, then the Overview tab.
Go to the In progress list, then find the employee.
Select the Menu bar (
) on the far-right corner.
Select Remove from onboarding.
Restore new hire to onboarding
📌 This process applies only to the classic version.
In Team View, go to Team Management › Onboarding › Activity log.
Select the Menu bar (
) icon in the Actions column. A dropdown should appear.
Select Return to onboarding to reinitiate this employee’s onboarding process.
This will resume onboarding for this employee wherever they were when they were removed, and notifications will be resent to the employee and any hiring managers responsible for completing onboarding tasks.
