Using the onboarding dashboard

Track onboarding progress, task completion, and document status in one place with Workstream’s Onboarding Dashboard.

Updated over 2 months ago

The Onboarding Dashboard in Workstream gives you a centralized view of your onboarding pipeline, helping you track new hires as they progress through various onboarding stages. The two (2) main metrics used to measure is Onboarding Completion Rate and Average Time to Complete Onboarding Process.

It displays key details such as completion rates, pending tasks, and document status, allowing you to identify bottlenecks and ensure timely follow-ups. Dimensions available:

  • Company Onboarding Process

  • Location

  • Job Title

With filtering and sorting options by location, job, and date, the dashboard helps streamline onboarding operations and ensures new hires complete their requirements efficiently.

📌 You need the "Access to reports, dashboards, and analytics" & "Onboard new hires" permissions as well as all locations access to access this feature. If you don't have access, reach out to your Super Admin.

  • Completion Rate (blue bars) – Shown on the left Y-axis (0% to 100%)

  • Average Time to Complete (orange line) – Shown on the right Y-axis (in days)

The dual Y-axes let you see both metrics side by side to spot trends, spikes, or drops. You can easily analyze performance monthly and see how efficiency (days to complete) impacts completion rates.
