Filter, analyze, and download reports in the Payroll Dashboard

Filter payroll dashboards by time, location, role, or status. Drill into data, view insights, and export reports easily.

The Payroll dashboard lets you tailor payroll data to your needs with flexible filters such as time range, workplace, job title, and worker status.

Interactive tiles give quick insights, with hover tooltips and options to expose detailed worker-level data. You can also export charts and tables as CSV or Excel files for deeper analysis and accurate record-keeping.

This makes it easier to monitor payroll trends, track performance, and ensure compliance.


Filter payroll data

Filtering options in the Payroll dashboard lets you customize the data displayed to match your specific needs. While filter options may vary across dashboards, common filters include:

  • Time range: Select a time period for the data you want to view

  • Workplace: Focus on a specific location or group of locations

  • Job title: Narrow down data to particular roles or positions

  • Worker status: Filter data based on current employment status (active or inactive)

Drill-down into payroll data

The Payroll dashboard offers interactive tiles, each containing charts or key metrics, allowing you to dive deeper into the data:

  • Quick insights with hover tooltips: Hover over specific data points within a chart to view additional details and quick insights without leaving the view

  • Expose underlying data: In certain tiles, you’ll find an “Expose Underlying Data” option in the three-dot menu (⋮). Selecting this reveals a detailed breakdown, including individual worker data and granular details


Export & download payroll data

You can export data from charts and tables for further analysis or record-keeping:

  1. Select the three-dot menu (⋮) on the upper-right corner of any chart or tile.

  2. Select Download to save the data as a CSV or Excel file.

  3. (For detailed reports) Choose Expose Underlying Data and download from there.
