Complete onboarding to-dos

Make sure all onboarding tasks are done so your new hire is fully onboarded and shows as Active.

A new hire is not considered fully onboarded until all required tasks are completed by both the new hire and you, the manager.

In this article, you will learn how to complete the onboarding tasks assigned to you.

The steps differ depending on your version:

  • Classic version: Has a dedicated Onboarding tab.

  • New version: Onboarding is part of the Team tab.


Classic version

  1. Go to Onboarding

    1. In Team View, click the Onboarding tab, then the Overview tab.

    2. Click the In progress tab.

    3. Find the new hire, then click Start tasks.

  2. Complete your tasks

    1. Click on the Your Tasks tab.

    2. Then complete the list of things that you need to do.

When all tasks are finished, the new hire will be considered onboarded and appear in the Completed tab.


New version

💡 The new version combines Active, Onboarding, and Offboarded employees in one place.

  1. Go to Onboarding

    1. In Team View, select the Team tab.

    2. Go to the Onboarding tab, then find the new hire.

    3. Scroll through the In progress list or use the search bar to find the new hire.

    4. Select Start tasks or View tasks in the Action column.

  2. Complete your tasks

    Review and complete the list of tasks assigned to you.

When both you and the new hire complete all tasks, the hire will move from In progress to Active.
