Create a new document type
Go to Team View, then Team Management › Documents.
Select the three-dot menu (•••) in the upper-right corner, then Create new document type. The menu also includes Trash and Manage document types.
In the Create new document type window, enter a name in the Document type field, then select Create.
Rename or delete document types
Go to Team View, then Team Management › Documents.
Select the three-dot menu (•••) in the upper-right corner, then Manage document types.
In the Manage document types window, select the three-dot menu (•••) next to the document type you want to Rename or Delete.
If you're renaming, enter the new name in the Rename document type window, then select Rename. If you're deleting, confirm in the Delete [type name]? window by selecting Delete, or select Back to keep it.
⚠️ Deleting a document type isn't blocked, and the documents in it will no longer have a document type. We recommend moving those documents to another type before you delete it.
You can also select Create new or Close at the bottom of the Manage document types window.
Change document type
Go to Team View, then Team Management › Documents.
Select the three-dot menu (•••) next to the document you want to move.
Select Move to type. A list of your document types appears. Choose the new document type. You can also select Create new or Manage at the bottom of the list.
Find documents by type
On the Documents list, use the All documents filter in the toolbar to show documents by type. You can also select Manage in that filter to manage your document types.
