Before you can sync new hire data between Workstream and ADP Workforce Now, you’ll need to set up your new hire template in ADP and enable the Workstream Connector.
These steps ensure that your employee data flows smoothly from Workstream into ADP, keeping your records accurate and your onboarding process efficient.
📌 You need an active ADP WFN and Workstream Connector subscription to use this integration.
Set up your new hire template in ADP Workforce Now
Here's how to set up an onboarding template in ADP WFN. The information on the fields that you set up here will reflect in Workstream.
Sign in to your ADP Workforce Now account.
Select Setup, then on the Template Management section, select Hire/Rehire.
Go to the Templates tab. Open an existing template, or add a new one.
Create: Select ⨁ Add template
Duplicate: Select Copy next to the template you want to duplicate
Go to the SELECT FIELDS section and select the fields you want to carry over to Workstream.
Scroll down to ASSIGN USERS, and make sure to check both profiles.
Review your notification settings, then select Next.
Make sure everything is correct, then select Submit.
Activate your template.
Sign up for Workstream Connector
Sign in to ADP Marketplace.
Get a Workstream Connector subscription.
Check the details of your order, then select Continue.
In the Product Settings section, enter your Workstream email.
Select Check to validate your email, then Continue.
Enter your billing details, then place an order.
Select Go to My Apps to continue.
Under Applications, select the Workstream Connector for ADP Workforce Now logo.
You will be prompted to link your ADP WFN account to your Workstream account. Select Allow.
Select Continue. You’ll be redirected to Workstream.
