Connect Crunchtime with Workstream

Automatically sync your new hires from Workstream to Crunchtime (NetChef).

Updated over 3 months ago

Crunchtime is a back-of-house operations platform used by restaurants for inventory management, sales tracking and more.

If you’re using Workstream to onboard new employees and Crunchtime to manage their schedules or time tracking, this integration ensures new hires are sent to Crunchtime as soon as they complete onboarding. That way, they can clock in on their first day without delays.

What this integration does:

  • Sends completed onboarding info from Workstream to Crunchtime in under 5 minutes

  • Helps you avoid manual data entry and costly mistakes

  • Ensures employees are clock-in ready from Day 1

This article will show you how to set up the integration.

Connecting with Crunchtime

Requirements

To activate this integration, you must:

  • Use Workstream’s Onboarding module (not just Hiring)Tip: If you're only using Workstream for Hiring, contact Lia at lia.ikeda@workstream.is to upgrade your plan.

  • Have an active NetChef account with Crunchtime

?Can payroll IDs from ADP be sent to Crunchtime through this integration?

No. This integration doesn't support payroll ID syncing from ADP to Crunchtime. That functionality is part of a separate Crunchtime-ADP integration, which is still in development. If you're using Workstream Payroll, this limitation doesn't apply.

Set up process

?How long does setup take?

The Crunchtime integration takes 4–6 weeks to fully enable, depending on timing and responsiveness from all parties.

Here’s how you can get the integration up and running:

  1. Email Lia: Reach out to lia.ikeda@workstream.is to request the integration. You can also book a meeting with her.

  2. Confirm fields: We’ll hop on a short call with you to confirm which fields you want to sync to Crunchtime. A standard list of fields is available upon request.

  3. Share your NetChef site URL: We’ll need your NetChef URL to complete the setup.

  4. Test and go live: We’ll send a test employee record for you to review in NetChef. Once you confirm everything looks good, we’ll activate the integration.
