Workstream’s Tip Management helps you collect, calculate, and pay out tips fairly and accurately. You can set up sharing rules, review each team member’s share, and send the final amounts to payroll automatically.

A: Often not for pooled tips, but this depends on your jurisdiction and company policy. If managers temporarily work a tipped job (e.g., a server shift), confirm what your local rules allow before including them.

A: You can choose how tips are shared:
By hours worked: Tips are split in proportion to approved hours.
By points: You can assign points to each job role to weigh how tips are divided. For example, if Servers have 7 points and Kitchen staff have 3 points, tips are split about 70/30 between them.
