If you can’t make a scheduled shift, you can flag it for coverage or open it up for others to claim. You can also request a swap directly with a teammate.
Once you flag a shift, managers are notified and can review and approve the change.
Flag a shift
Open the Workstream US app.
Go to your Schedule, then select Flag on the shift you can’t make.
Enter a reason for flagging the shift.
(Optional) Choose a teammate to request coverage from.
(Optional) Submit a time-off request at the same time.
Select Flag to confirm.
The flagged shift will automatically move to the Open Shifts list, making it visible to other team members who can pick it up.
Claim an open shift
When another team member flags a shift, you’ll receive an app notification about the available open shift.
If you request the shift, your manager will review and approve it. You’ll be notified once the swap is confirmed.
