Delete a position template

Delete a position template in Admin View by selecting it from the list, clicking the three-dot menu, and confirming the deletion

📌 You need the Create and edit job details templates permission to delete position templates.

⚠️ Deleting a position template can't be undone. Job postings already created from it, and their applicants, aren't affected.

  1. In Admin View, go to Hiring › Position Templates.

  2. Click the three dots (•••) beside the template you wish to delete, then click Delete. A pop-up should appear asking you to confirm the deletion.

  3. If your decision is final, click Yes, delete. Otherwise, click Cancel.

💡 You can't delete a position template while job postings created from it still exist, including closed ones. If you see "You can't delete this position because there are active Job Postings using it," or an error after selecting Yes, delete, delete those job postings first. Deleting a job posting marks its applicants as inactive.
