Use evaluation plans during hiring

Use evaluation plans during interviews to rate applicants, review team feedback, and compare scores with an overall rating summary.

Updated over 4 months ago

Once linked to a position, evaluation plans help teams score applicants during interviews.

Interviewers can submit feedback using the selected scoring method, which is saved under the applicant’s profile. Feedback can be edited or deleted by the person who submitted it.

Managers can review all feedback, compare scores, and see average star ratings per applicant.

Rate applicants after interviews

  1. In Team View, go to Applicants.

  2. Go to the Interview tab to see applicants scheduled or completed for interviews.

  3. Select the applicant’s name to open their profile.

  4. Go to the Feedback tab.

  5. Select Add feedback to start scoring.

  6. Go through each item in the evaluation plan and give your score.

  7. When you're done, select Add.

Once added, you can go back and make changes anytime. Select the ✏️ icon to update your answers or the 🗑️ icon to remove the feedback if needed.

Review feedback and compare candidates

After interviews, you can view all submitted feedback in the applicant’s profile. Here’s what you can do:

  • See who submitted feedback, including scores and comments

  • Compare input from different team members to help decide who to move forward

  • Add your own feedback, even if others already submitted theirs

  • Edit or delete only the feedback you submitted

How star ratings work

Each applicant scored has a star rating on their profile, showing the average Overall Score from all feedback.

  • The system averages the “Overall Score” from each submitted evaluation

  • When you hover over the star, you’ll see both the average score and your own score
