Set up your scheduling settings

Manage time zones, date ranges, notice periods, and calendar sync settings to control how applicants schedule interviews with you.

  1. In the team view, go to Scheduling.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the calendar, select the gear ⚙️ icon to open the Scheduling Settings page.

In the Scheduling Settings page, you can manage when and how applicants can schedule time with you through Workstream:

Settings

Time Zone

  • What it does: Automatically detects and applies your local time zone for calendar events. Keep the toggle on to let Workstream detect your time zone automatically.

  • To set this up manually:

    • Toggle off the Detect time zone automatically option.

    • Use the dropdown menu to select your preferred time zone.

Available Date Range

  • What it does: Sets how many days into the future applicants can see and schedule meetings.

  • Set this up: Enter the number of days. Applicants will only see open time slots within this range.

Minimum Scheduling Notice

  • What it does: Blocks applicants from booking meetings that start too soon.

  • Set this up: Enter how many hours of notice you need. For example, if you enter 4, applicants won't be able to book anything starting within the next 4 hours

Google Calendar

  • What it does: Connect your Google Calendar to automatically block off busy times and prevent double bookings in Workstream.

  • Set this up: Use this article to connect your Google Calendar and start syncing your availability.

Outlook Calendar

  • What it does: Connect your Outlook Calendar to automatically block off busy times and prevent double bookings in Workstream.

  • Set this up: Use this article to connect your Outlook Calendar and start syncing your availability.

After any updates are made in the settings, the page should automatically save the changes.
