Set up the Hiring Complete stage

Learn how to set up and use the Hiring Complete stage in Workstream.

The Hiring Complete stage marks the end of the hiring process. It confirms that an applicant has finished all required steps and is officially hired.

This stage ensures that:

  • All offer letters are signed

  • All documents and approvals are finalized

  • Employment details (start date, position, and location) are confirmed

Step 1: Check the Hiring Complete stage

The Hiring Complete stage is included by default in every new hiring process. It is always the last stage and marks when an applicant has finished all required steps and is officially hired.


Make sure this stage is at the end of your process before setting up automations or tracking applicants. You only need to add it manually if it was previously deleted.


Step 2: Automate actions

Use the Automation tab to set automatic actions when an applicant enters this stage.

  • Send a message (default: Off) - Turn this on to automatically send a message, like a “Welcome aboard!”

  • Mark them as hired (default: On) - Automatically marks the applicant as Hired. Turn off if your team prefers to confirm hires manually.

  • Send a referral link (default: On) - Sends a message inviting the new hire to share open jobs
