An applicant is considered inactive when there has been no interaction from either a hiring manager or the applicant.
Here’s how an application can become inactive:
Inactivity for 30+ days (automatic)
Deletion of the position they applied for (automatic)
Marked as inactive by a user (manual)
To keep an applicant active, you can view the applicant’s details in Hiring, send a direct message (SMS or email) to the applicant (not an automated message), reject or hire the applicant, and review each applicant in the long-term holding stage every 30 days.
